An Impressive 2025 Season Finale in Atlanta for GEBHARDT MotorSport Driver, Valentino Catalano, IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge Champion
Atlanta, GA, October 10, 2025: It was a week of racing to remember for GEBHARDT MotorSport USA as the team celebrated two major triumphs during the IMSA VP SportCar Challenge. Valentino Catalano drove to championship victory in the No. 30 GEBHARDT Intralogistics North American car, clinching a race victory and securing the overall championship title, capping off an incredible season of performance and consistent wins.
“It’s been exciting to bring the GEBHARDT MotorSport team back to the US,” said Fritz Gebhardt, Global CEO of the GEBHARDT Group. “Catalano’s championship win marks a defining moment for the GEBHARDT team, showcasing both driver skill and engineering excellence within the team,” continued Gebhardt. With consistent podium finishes and unmatched determination, Catalano sealed the championship with authority in the final race weekend.
“I’m incredibly happy to have been given this opportunity,” said Valentino Catalano. With eight wins and ten podium finishes here in the US, it’s been a privilege. I’d like to thank Fritz Gebhardt for the opportunity and support that he has given me this season. Also, the entire team with support and dedication throughout the year. This championship is the result of tireless effort, teamwork, and a commitment from everyone,” continued Catalano.
Adding to the team’s success, Óscar Tunjo claimed a win during the first VP Racing SportsCar Challenge race earlier this week on Thursday, further highlighting the team’s competitive depth and relentless drive for excellence. Tunjo’s win demonstrated the speed and precision that define the GEBHARDT MotorSport USA team’s approach to the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge series. To have multiple drivers reach the podium this season is a testament to everyone involved — from the drivers to the crew and sponsors. This win will give the team a solid foundation for 2026. In addition to the No. 30 GEBHARDT and No. 31 PINAXIS P3 Duqueine D08 racecars, Alexzander Kristiansson from Sweden finished 4th in the No. 1 Duqueine D08.
