GEBHARDT Intralogistics North America Names Ralf Buerkle as Chief Operating Officier

STREETSBORO, OH February 20, 2025: GEBHARDT Intralogistics North America announces Ralf Buerkle, to lead operations, manufacturing, and engineering. Buerkle who has been with the company since 2023, will now lead the manufacturing and engineering product innovation teams as well as the controls engineering here within the local North American market.

“Given the growth that we have seen in the last several years, it’s important that we manufacturer here locally,” said Juergen Conrad, CEO of GEBHARDT Intralogistics North America. “Ralf has the experience to source specialty products and to bring production in-house for our core technologies. His work will ensure the same great German engineering quality that GEBHARDT is known for in the market globally, yet produced here in the U.S. Our goal is to help lower the cost of automation, and we know that to achieve this, we must produce some components here stateside where it makes sense. Ralf has already been a tremendous asset to our team over the past year and a half. His vast automation background is helping us grow strategically with the right resources and timing,” continued Conrad.

Before joining GEBHARDT, Buerkle was a founding member of Intelligrated, where he started the Intelligrated controls engineering department. Later in his career, he became the VP of Project Engineering and Development at Honeywell Intelligrated.
