Warehouse Automation with SAP
With GEBHARDT StoreWare solutions, GEBHARDT offers many options for connecting our systems to your SAP system. Regardless of what your SAP environment might look like, we have an appropriate solution for you. Establishing a direct link between SAP EWM and the control level of the intralogistics system is also not a problem in the slightest. As a system integrator, we can provide you with turnkey solutions for your warehouse, including SAP EWM, or we can work with your preferred SAP partner.
Examples of Architecture with SAP
SAP EWM and the SAP EWM/MFS module are used to communicate directly with the control technology (PLC). The conveyor technology controls as well as our GEBHARDT warehouse technology devices, such as storage and retrieval machines or the StoreBiter® MLS and OLS shuttle systems, can be addressed directly by SAP EWM using TCP/IP telegrams. It does not matter whether it is pallets, containers or cartons that are getting transported.
GEBHARDT StoreWare can take on additional tasks in a wide variety of forms and is linked by means of an IDOC or RFC interface. The GEBHARDT StoreWare material flow system (MFS) can be connected to SAP-WM in projects with automated warehouse technology. SAP transfers transport orders at handling unit (HU) level and the GEBHARDT StoreWare stores the corresponding HU. GEBHARDT software can take care of any relocations that may occur in multiple-depth warehouses. The order picking dialogues are located in SAP in this configuration, but can also be processed without SAP when booking the GEBHARDT StoreWare LVS module.
